PHOTONICS. WORLD OF LASERS AND OPTICS - 2017

From 28 to March 3, 2017 one of the largest Russian exhibitions in the field of photonics "Photonics. THE WORLD OF LASERS AND OPTICS - 2017 " was held in Moscow, Russia.
FEDAL, the leading manufacturer of laser electronics, presented its products at the stand of Skolkovo. The exposition included diode drivers produced by the company, and power supplies for different types of lasers.
 
  
 
At the company's stand were presented:
Diode driver (QCW), model SF306, designed for supplying diode array, which are used for pumping powerful solid or fiber lasers.
The main features are:
The operating voltage up to 140V,
The output current up to 150A,
The pulse rate up to 500 Hz,
The pulse duration up to 1000 μs.
The driver is optimized to the laboratory, educational, experimental and industrial applications.
 
 
At the exhibition visitors could see such models as SF6030 and SF6100.
The diode driver is designed to supply the laser diodes and diode arrays in CW mode.
The main features are:
The operating voltage on diodes up to 10V (SF6030) and up to 40V (SF6100)
The output current up to 15A (SF6030) and up to 20A (SF6100)
Supplied as an OEM module. The SF6xxx series of drivers is widely used in in industrial laser application (marking, welding, soldering, cutting), medical equipment, laser measuring equipment (spectrometers, lidar, range finders).
 
  
 
Also FEDAL presented its latest development - Diode driver with TEC controller for Butterfly LD, model SF8025.
Driver SF8025 is designed to power and temperature control of the Butterfly Laser Diode. The design provides landing pad for soldering the laser diode on the board.
Options:
- supply with Azimuth connectors, providing the possibility of fast diode replacement;
- supply with large heatsink for stable heat dissipation.
 
This development was awarded the Diploma of the II degree (Laser Association Award) based in the nomination "Sources of laser radiation and laser beam control systems".
